Common questions

What exactly does one application key cover?: One application identifier - your Android applicationId or iOS CFBundleIdentifier - across every platform we support, with no limit on users, devices or how much data you capture. Debug and staging builds of the same app are included as variants.
Do I need to enter my app id when I pay?: Yes, at checkout, and your access token is issued immediately. If you are not sure of it yet, start a free trial instead and buy once your build is settled.
What if I mistype the app id?: Your app identifier is cryptographically signed into the token, so it cannot be edited. You can generate a corrected token yourself from your account, and the old one is revoked automatically. There is a limit per plan; support can help beyond it.
Does my app need internet to start tracking?: No. The licence is verified on the device. We do check periodically to see whether a licence has been revoked, but if that check cannot reach us your app carries on working. A tracking app should never go dark because a server blinked.
Do you receive our location data?: No. The SDK sends no location data to us. It stays on the device and in whatever backend you send it to. The only thing our servers ever see is a licence check.
What does "perpetual" actually mean?: The licence never expires. Buy once and that application is licensed forever, including apps already released. Your included year of SDK updates is separate - when it ends, everything you have shipped keeps working, you simply stop receiving new SDK releases until you renew.
Can I move a key to a different app?: A key is bound to one app identifier permanently. If you retire an app, revoking its key frees the slot so you can license a replacement without buying again.
What happens when a trial ends?: The token stops working the next time your app reaches the network after the end date - licences are checked on-device, so it is not a precise moment. Buy a plan before then and the same token keeps working, with no code change.
Can I upgrade later?: Yes. Buy the larger plan and your existing keys are unaffected; get in touch if you would like the difference credited.
How do I get an invoice with our GST or VAT number?: Enter it at checkout and it appears on your receipt, along with the tax we charged and the rate. Prices are shown in your local currency, with tax calculated for your billing country.
Which platforms and frameworks are supported?: Native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift), plus React Native and Flutter, which bridge to those same native SDKs. One key covers all four - a React Native app and a native Android app built from the same application id use the same licence. Integration guides for each are in the developer docs.
What if we stop paying, or you disappear?: Your licence is permanent and verified offline, so shipped apps keep working regardless. Revocation only applies where we have grounds, such as a refund or a breach of terms.
